Certified Event Producer™, Revenue Architect and Profit Partner, Founder of Grace & Ease Productions

Shay Wheat has spent more than a decade inside the rooms where events either become growth engines or expensive parties. Shay Wheat built Grace & Ease Productions to close that gap, combining event strategy, buyer psychology, and revenue architecture so the room does more than gather people. It converts them.

Shay Wheat's Point of View

An event is not simply something you produce. It is a business system you architect.

Most events get planned around the visible things: speakers, agendas, decor, logistics. Shay Wheat starts somewhere else, with the offer, the audience's decision journey, and the outcome the event is supposed to produce for the business behind it.

That distinction is the whole business. Event production keeps the room running. Event strategy decides what the room is for. Grace & Ease Productions' revenue architecture designs the two together, so belief and enrollment build in the same sequence instead of arriving as a surprise at the end.

Shay Wheat believes events are decision environments, not content delivery, not networking, not inspiration. People are deciding, session by session, whether they trust the work, see themselves in it, and are ready to move. Get that sequence right, and the offer does not have to be forced onto the room. It becomes the next honest step.

Shay Wheat's Story

From producing events to architecting business growth

Shay Wheat's work did not start with a title. It started in the room, watching what happened when people gathered: when trust built, when an audience leaned in, when a message moved from inspiration into an actual decision.

Over the past decade-plus, she has produced live and virtual events for coaches, consultants, and transformational leaders, from intimate high-ticket rooms to audiences in the thousands. Along the way, she noticed the same problem, over and over. Most events were run like logistics projects: venue, slides, speakers, schedule, registration, tech, timeline. The events that actually converted were not run that way. They were built around the offer, the audience's decision journey, the pacing of the room, and the outcome the business needed the event to produce.

That gap became Grace & Ease Productions. Shay Wheat built the company to help experts turn events into profitable, purpose-driven growth engines: not just beautiful experiences, but strategic environments where trust deepens and revenue grows without pressure or hype.

She brings a background in psychology, a B.S. from the University of California, Davis, and years of training as a Reiki Master Teacher to the work, which sounds like an unusual combination until you have watched her read a room. Energy, pacing, safety, and presence shape how people listen and decide, and she reads all of it practically, not mystically. That is what lets her design a room where people feel grounded enough to trust the process and take the next step in front of them.

She has watched the market shift, too. Content can now be generated by anyone, instantly, at scale. That has made a live room more valuable, not less. When a prospect can get information from anywhere, what they cannot get anywhere else is the experience of being in a room with someone who has actually done the work. That is the kind of trust content alone cannot manufacture. (More on this.)

That belief is the throughline of everything Grace & Ease Productions builds now. The event is not the end of the funnel. It is the place where trust becomes undeniable, and undeniable trust is what makes the next yes easy.

Shay Wheat | Methodology Section

The Thinking Behind Grace & Ease Productions

Shay Wheat doesn't just have experience. She has repeatable intellectual property.

Framework 01

Decision Bridge™

Decision Bridge™ is Grace & Ease Productions' framework for the internal milestones an attendee has to cross before a buying decision feels clean and confident: recognizing the problem, believing it's solvable, trusting the method, seeing themselves in the path, and wanting support now. Every session in the room is designed to move someone one step further across that bridge.

Framework 02

Enrollment Moment™

Enrollment Moment™ is Grace & Ease Productions' term for the designed point where the offer becomes the natural next step instead of a hard pivot. It's built through the right sequencing of trust, belief, problem awareness, audience readiness, offer alignment, and room momentum, so the ask never feels like it came out of nowhere.

Framework 03

Growth Retention Flywheel™

Growth Retention Flywheel™ is Grace & Ease Productions' system for making sure an event doesn't only sell, it sustains. It increases engagement, extends client lifetime value, and helps the business scale with ease, so results continue well after the room closes.

Proof Through Outcomes

The work performs in the real world

Lisa Nichols

Motivating the Masses

The Situation

An established global thought leader with a large platform and an existing event model, whose team was managing logistics instead of revenue strategy.

What Shay Wheat Identified

The events lacked the systems and conversion architecture needed to scale without burning out the team.

What Changed

Grace & Ease Productions became the operating infrastructure behind the entire event engine, from run of show to enrollment team to post-event follow-up.

The Result

One three-day event generated over $2.1 million from a single stage. A 2022 combined virtual and in-person event produced $1,934,337 in total revenue.

"Not only has the team Grace and Ease proven to be experts in their field, but they've consistently been available, responsive, reliable, and most of all trustworthy. They are true, true partners."

— Lisa Nichols, Motivating the Masses

Evelyn Knight

Childcare Business Professionals

The Situation

One month out from her first live event, with only 30 people registered, seriously considering canceling.

What Shay Wheat Identified

The room needed an aggressive fill strategy and a full event architecture built from scratch, fast.

What Changed

Grace & Ease Productions built the run of show, executed the room-fill strategy, and ran the event so Evelyn Knight could stay present with her people instead of managing logistics.

The Result

Registration grew from 30 to 100 attendees. Total event revenue: $245,354.

"I've worked with event planners in the past and now I really understand the concept of what an event producer is and why it is so different and so necessary. An event planner may make things look beautiful, but they don't coordinate."

— Evelyn Knight, Childcare Business Professionals

Josh Turner

Linked Selling

The Situation

Scaling from smaller events into his first 200-plus person live enrollment room, without a production partner who understood conversion architecture at that scale.

What Shay Wheat Identified

The event needed to be engineered as a revenue design project, not a logistics project, with every session sequencing the room toward the decision point.

What Changed

Grace & Ease Productions built the architecture for his first Ascend event, then sharpened it for the second.

The Result

$598,900 in program sales at 15.35% conversion in year one, growing to $871,200 at 21.46% conversion in year two.

"She's a master at what she does and I don't think we could have done it without her. Our team loved working with her too."

— Josh Turner, Linked Selling
